Yoga Manchester Teacher Training is committed to the quality of your development and the safety of your students. Should the faculty feel the necessary progress is not being made, you may fail the course. Should this arise, you will be given the opportunity to undertake further training to gain your qualification.

Why two years?

Yoga is a lifelong practice, this course is intended to be much more than just a qualification. In our experience, two years is the minimum period to lay the foundations for your own practice which is fundamental to being able to teach.

How do I apply?

You can download the application form here and send to info@yoga-manchester.co.uk You will be required to provide two references, one of whom must be your yoga teacher. The faculty will then assess your application and aim to get back to you within 14 days.

Trainees who are unable to attend modules will have the opportunity to attend the specific session in subsequent YMTT courses. Certification will only be awarded once all modules have been completed.

Can I start teaching straight away?

We recommend that trainees begin teaching friends and family upon beginning the course as this will provide an appropriate platform to apply their learnings as opposed to it being purely theoretical.
