Yoga Manchester Teacher Training is committed to the quality of your development and the safety of your students. Should the faculty feel the necessary progress is not being made, you may fail the course. Should this arise, you will be given the opportunity to undertake further training to gain your qualification.
Yoga is a lifelong practice, this course is intended to be much more than just a qualification. In our experience, two years is the minimum period to lay the foundations for your own practice which is fundamental to being able to teach.
You can download the application form here and send to firstname.lastname@example.org You will be required to provide two references, one of whom must be your yoga teacher. The faculty will then assess your application and aim to get back to you within 14 days.
Applications should be received no later than 28th February 2017, with the course set to begin on 1st April 2017.
A typical day will start from 9am and end at 5pm. There will an hour for lunch and small refresher breaks in-between sessions.
Unless there are significant mitigating circumstances such as illness or family issues, 100% attendance is required. Trainees who are unable to attend modules will have the opportunity to attend the specific session in subsequent YMTT courses. Certification will only be awarded once all modules have been completed.
We recommend that trainees begin teaching friends and family upon beginning the course as this will provide an appropriate platform to apply their learnings as opposed to it being purely theoretical. Please note, you will need public liability insurance to teach members of the public. Insurance options will be addressed during the course.
Yoga Manchester Teacher Training is fully accredited by the well-respected Independent Yoga Network.
We are committed to your ongoing development, therefore, continual professional development (CPDs) courses will be offered to graduates at discounted rates.
